About Me
Hi! My name is Cindy Campbell, I’m the founder-owner of Eureka Highlands. I have an extensive history in website development, online and traditional marketing, and I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge with small business owners to help them get a competitive edge online.
I'm happy to brainstorm ideas and discuss options at no cost - I want you to be successful based on my work and happy with my performance, so let's make sure we are a good match for each other and have a worthwhile plan in place first.
I'm used to the demands of a small business taking over your time and I'll do my best to minimise what I need from you - I understand that your customers/business comes first.
I'll be patient - and I'll also prod you when needed. For instance, if I'm managing your content online, I'll check in with you every week or two to see if there is any news to post. I try to work with you in the way that works best for you - and still keeps your online presence working for you.
I love to unravel the mysteries of the online universe for an entrepreneur and make it start working for them - it’s so much fun to be a part of their “eureka moment” when it all comes together!
A bit about my work experience...
I’ve been marketing online for 28 years (that’s 4 years longer than Google), and I have built over 100 websites. I have received certifications from Google and Bing, resulting in knowledge of how to get good results through both search engine optimisation and paid ads.
A few years ago I managed online advertising for 23 e-commerce clients. Collectively they spent half a million pounds in advertising budget, and my ads resulted in over £4,000,000 in sales (an 815% return). They were rather happy, and I received some unexpected Christmas gifts that year!
I also have over a decade of experience in both social media and email marketing. With previous accounts like Sharon Leon Carpets, Eastgate Shopping Centre, Tulloch Homes and Highlands & Islands Enterprise, I have considerable experience managing daily posts and running advertising across a variety of social networks. (Just don’t look at my own social media as an example - like most small business owners’, mine tends to be neglected.)
Other bits of trivia about me include:
- my addiction to chocolate - in any form;
- my nationality - I’m American, you’ll figure that out the first time we speak;
- my favourite pastime - roaming the Highlands and Islands with my camera looking for the next ruin or coo;
- my age when I started writing programming code for computers - 9 years old (thanks, Dad!)
And for a conversation starter - ask me about our Ice Age fossil collection!
